* Philippe Desfray is a well-known expert in the domain of object oriented methods. He has participated in the construction of UML within the OMG, since its beginnings, and is contributing to the new version, UML 2.0. In particular, he directed the definition of profiles in UML 1.4, and its evolution in UML 2.0.
