The Softeam group is one the few European voting members of the OMG (Object Management Group) and has been part of the UML task force from day one. Our most recent cotnribution to the evolution of UML has been in the field of UML Profiles and model transformation, which are key mechanisms and concepts to a UML based approach to MDA (Model Driven Architecture). We also participate to other important standards within the OMG such as the SPEM (Software Process Engineering Metamodel) and XMI (support for model exchange between tools).
